One of our usual go to places for lunch on the first day of CNY. It’s an old school restaurant serving traditional Cantonese fare. Food on the whole is usually quite good and of a consistent standard. Nothing really wows me here but most of their dishes are definitely above average and of a good quality and taste. The only dish I disliked in my memory over the years were the suckling pig with glutinous rice, and that’s because the pig tasted too fatty and gamey. Ingredients used are fresh, prices are not cheap nor super expensive. I recall that they used to have an outlet at myVillage in Serangoon Garden, have dined there before but I think it has closed down some years ago.

Wo Peng Cuisine is an outstanding restaurant! The staff is incredibly friendly and the place is impeccably clean. The food is absolutely delicious, with the pork belly being a standout dish. We were also impressed by the quick and efficient service. The overall dining experience was excellent, and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great meal!

Lovely oldies cantonese restaurant. Authentic. Overall delicious. Except for the braised sea cucumber, it has quite fishy smell rather than the braised gravy taste.

I recently hosted my wedding at here and i couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment me and my husband first visited, the staff was warm, professional, and incredibly accommodating. They truly understood how important this day was for us and made every effort to ensure everything went smoothly. The food is absolutely outstanding! Our guests are impressed about the quality, presentation, and variety. From the appetizers to the main course and desserts, everything was prepared to perfection. They even accommodated dietary restrictions and special requests without any issues. Would definitely recommend this place to others!

One of the best Canto cuisines I’ve tried and tbh I’m not really a fan of Chinese food but this blew me away! We booked a VIP room and our group of 6 had a whole room to ourselves. It was really cozy and the server would make her routine visits often to help clear our plates and refill our drinks. 10/10 service as despite us being in a private room where we could be forgotten, we were still well taken care of. The food were next level. I mean, just look at the pics. We started with a garden salad with white crispy bait and gosh it was divine. I don’t eat veggies but these were sooo good (as u can tell by how I totally forgot to take a pic before eating haha) We then had seafood carrot cake and dim sum dishes like Har gow and siew mai, they were really tasty but the yam fritter was a miss for me (t but that could be bauce I don’t really like yam unless in orh nee) We had braised fish maw soup with shark in and omg sedaaaaappppp!!!! The mains were some long thin fish (direct translation from Chinese lol) and it was steamed and deep fried so it was moist but also had crispy partttssss naniiiiii so gooood. The highlight was the lobster mee and omg noms noms I had 2 servings. We ended the lunch with cripy fried red bean wraps (?) and they were really good too!! The mango sago hit the spot and I dare say I would 100/10 recommend this place to all my friends. No

Would like to thank Ms May and her team for helping to accommodate to us, prepping the whole entire venue and also making it easy for us to get through the night! I had my wedding here just a week ago and the whole experience was awesome! Ms May and her team were very attentive to not just us but also to all of our guests! Really love the whole atmosphere with friendly staffs except for the AV guy who was supposed to play our videos and songs seems like he doesn’t want to be there but other than that, everything went smoothly! A lot of our guests complimented the food was super good and they enjoyed their time there! The vegetarian menu was awesome too! Am gonna say, the food was really very good and definitely will come back again to either celebrate birthdays or CNY gatherings! Once again, would like to thank everyone that night! Really enjoyed their whole experience!

The service was most excellent! The managers/captains were very attentive and friendly. I would recommend the following from the dimsum menu: pan fried cheong fun, bean curd skin with shrimps and pork and crispy yam dumplings and the more special ones: steamed honey bbq pork with preserved vegetables, chef's special skewer fry pork siu mai.

Wo Peng is located in the fairly old hotel, Furama. However, the restaurant isn't too shabby. In fact, it gives me a familiar Cantonese resto vibe, which I enjoy actually. Staff are suitably friendly, and dishes are by and large authentic & yummy. More hits than misses. Now on to the food!! 1) yusheng / lohei - this was a delight. The mock salmon looked positively real. Whilst tasty enough, the slightly hypochondriac me was wondering if it was made out of many chemicals. Hahahaha. One lovely bit was the crispy fish skin!!! I don't think I've ever had yusheng with crispy fish skin which provided a lovely crunchy texture to this age-old dish. 2) double-boiled superior soup with almonds - oh, this i LURVED!!!! Wow! Just so ambrosial and heavenly. Soup lovers would be over the moon with this one. Guaranteed. Seriously. 3) poon Choy - Award-winning Chef Julian Tam supposedly was the first to introduce this Cantonese dish to Singapore. And his version is authentic and doesn't disappoint. Chockful of expensive delicacies like abalone, dried scallops, fish maw, sea cucumber, shrimp, meats and veggies go into that claypot. The sauce is phenomenal and warrants a bowl of white rice. Yes, the rice is a MUST. 4) sautéed "peach resin" with egg white - ok, this dish didn't look too appetizing but the flavors were tremendously delicious. The egg whites and some century eggs (I could be mistaken with the latter) and veggies.... They all went together like nutella and toast. Very awesome. 5) wild cod fish - it looked like art, like a calligraphic painting. Very interesting way of cooking it - if you notice, the filleted fish is fried but the fish slices are steamed and placed by the side. How perfectly contrasting! Me likey!!! Mucho!!! 6) roasted duck - while yummy, it didn't strike me as fantastic. Nothing out of the ordinary. But yummy nonetheless. 7) glutinous rice with Chinese sausages - yes yes yes yes yes yes yes!!!!!!!!!!!! What a way to end with this staple! I don't know why, but I enjoyed this laap mei faan very much. The Chinese sausages went terrifically well with the sticky rice. A true winner. 8) custard buns - honestly, this was a let down and the worst dish of the night. The skin (bun) was tough, and the custard was watery. A pity, cos it looked so yummy! All in all, I really really enjoyed my meal. Chef Julian came out to say hi to us and he is friendliest, most humble and humorous chef.
